Whipps Cross Hospital rated ‘inadequate’ and ‘unsafe’

Britain's biggest NHS trust, Barts Health, has been placed in special measures today after Whipps Cross Hospital was rated ‘inadequate’ and ‘unsafe’.

Shocking failings were exposed at the Leytonstone hospital including the death of two unborn babies, a new mother and a child soon after birth.

They were among 208 serious incidents last year.
