Inner Voices unites singers from inner London state schools

Inner Voices is a London youth choir composed of singers from inner London state schools, under the direction of one of the best choirmasters in the country.

Since 2011, the choir has been growing in reputation.

On May 4, they'll be opening for David Cameron Citizens UK General Election Assembly and this weekend they play two dates at the Union Chapel in Islington, supported by choirs from other London schools.

For our arts and entertainment programme, London Go, Edward Watkins, one of the founders of Inner Voices, came into the studios along with Ella, a member of the choir, and Lucas from the West London Free School Choir.

The choir also performed "Come to Me" by Bobby McFerrin.
