Tatau's Joe Layton had a tough time filming on the beaches
28th April 2015

What you’ll take from drama Tatau, and what happens to backpacking pals Kyle (Joe Layton) and Budgie (Theo Barklem-Biggs), is that the next time you’re in the Pacific and offered a hallucinogenic brew, it’d be best not to accept it. A night on this dream sauce leads Kyle to believe he’s witnessed a murder which hasn’t yet taken place, and he spends the rest of his holiday trying to prevent something which hasn’t happened. Or might not happen.
Joe Layton spoke about the show, the tough time he spent filming on the beaches and what it’s like to read in the paper you’ve drowned.
