100,000 white balloons come to Covent Garden

A new art installation was unveiled in Covent Garden this morning.

French artist Charles Pétillon alongside a team of 25 people worked for five days to blow up 100,000 white balloons in the Grade II listed South Hall.

The artwork officially opens on 27 August and stays in place for a month.
