Zac Goldsmith on the migrant crisis: "everything has changed today"

Zac Goldsmith, the Conservative MP for Richmond Park, has spoken on the migrant crisis.

He talks of the change in the mood nationally towards the crisis since the photo of a young boy lying face down on the beach sparked international outcry about the human cost of this conflict.

In the Labour hustings in August, candidate David Lammy said Conservative runner Zack Goldsmith has some 'bizarre' policies and he cannot wait to take him on if he win's Labour's nomination to run for Mayor in 2016.

The hustings debate was chaired by the Evening Standard’s Editor, Sarah Sands, held at the Royal Geographical Society in Kensington.

The London Mayoral candidates that took part were; Zac Goldsmith the Conservative MP for Richmond Park, Stephen Greenhalgh the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, Syed Kamall the Conservative member of the European Parliament for London, and Andrew Boff, a London Assembly Member.
