London pioneers new stroke treatment

New innovative advancement in the treatment of strokes is being pioneered in London.

St Georges Hospital in Wandswoth is paving the way in the treatment that consists of useing a device to take out a blood clot directly from a patients brain.

Saad Ali was one of the first people to have the procedure done, when he suffered a stroke at only 5 years-old.

We spoke to his father about how the new process saved his sons life.
