Campaigners take to streets to protest speech by Jeremy Hunt

Campaigners took to the streets of North West London yesterday evening to rally against planned changes to the NHS.

The protest was outside the Southall Conservative Club, where Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt had been invited as a guest speaker - but he didn't turn up.

Dr Onkar Sahota, the Chair of the London Assembly Health Committee said Mr Hunt should "hang his head in shame" over the closure of some A and E departments and the on-going dispute with junior doctors.
