Nominet Trust unveils top 100 social innovators

The Nominet Trust has unveiled the top one hundred most inspiring uses of technology to bring about social change.

The charity aims to recognise the work of innovators and inspire others to join them in tackling social challenges.

The Zoological Society London made it to the list with their 'camera trap', which sends images from the wild to anywhere in the world. This helps protect species from poaching and endangerment.

TalkLife also featured with their digital support network, which allows people from around the world to support one another

Another organisation reaching the top 100 was Open Bionics, a company creating bionic limbs for amputees. They're aiming to make devices which are affordable, functional and fashionable.
