Save the Red Telephone Box

When was the last time you saw the iconic red phone box on the streets of London?

Our dependence on mobiles has meant that phone boxes are infrequently used, and therefore many have been removed.

The Red Kiosk Company and its charitable trust, Thinking Outside the Box, are fundraising to preserve many that are at risk, including one on King William Walk opposite the Cutty Sark.

With £4,000 the phone box could be preserved for five years, and donors have the opportunity to be featured on the side of the booth,

Edward Otewell explained how he is working to save many red phone boxes that are at risk.
