There is something for everyone in this week's London Film Club

In this week's London Film Club we review The Conjuring 2, Apichatpong Weerasethakul's film Cemetery of Splendor. Added to the mix is Gerard Butler in the not so epic film Gods of Egypt and finally Matteo Garrone's fairytale Tale of Tales.

The big release of the week was The Conjuring 2, sequel to the original from 2013. Directed by James Wan this scary number is based on a real-life news story from Enfield about a reported supernatural phenomenon.

Also on the show was Apichatpong Weerasethakul's film Cemetery of Splendor. Arthouse lovers, this one is for you.

Gerard Butler starer Gods of Egypt. Well, what can we say about this one except it had our reviewers lost for words!

Finally, inspired by fairytale stories from the 1700s, Tale of Tales is Matteo Garrone's first English film. London Film Club thought it was wonderfully anti-Hollywood and a visual treat.

Watch London Film Club for the latest film reviews every Thursday at 7:30pm on London Live.
