Durham's Solar Car comes to London

A car powered entirely by the sun which competed in the World Solar Challenge in Australia has arrived in the capital.

It was built by students at Durham University and is on display at the Science Museum.

Using 391 state-of-the-art silicon solar cells, the car can get up to a top speed of around 70mph.

The team have now launched a crowdfunding campaign to race it at next year's World Solar Challenge in Darwin.
