"London should adopt zero-suicide approach" says London Assembly

London should adopt a zero-suicide approach inspired by a scheme that's delivered results in the American city of Detroit. 

That's according to a report coming out of City Hall today which says the number of people taking their own lives in the capital has risen in recent years - with an average of 14 suicides a week.

Dr Onkar Sahota is chair of the London Assembly Health Committee.
