The Bush is back - theatre reopens after £4.3m refurbishment

After a year of putting shows on in karaoke bars, laundrettes and rooms above pubs, Bush Theatre is reopening its home in the old library building on Uxbridge Road.

Renovations which cost £4.3m, mean the theatregoers will have new public areas to explore as well as two spaces in which to watch productions: a refurbished auditorium and a new, 60-seater studio. There is also, for the first time, a rehearsal room on site.

London Live spoke to the artistic director Madani Younis and was given a preview before it opens its doors this weekend.
