Campaigners fight to save PeckhamPlex

There are fears for the future of one of the capital's most popular independent cinemas.

For more than a decade PeckhamPlex, known for its all-year-round £5 tickets, has operated from a multi-storey car park in south east London.

But the site may face demolition if Southwark Council's redevelopment plans for the borough get the go-ahead.

A community group called Peckham Vision are among those campaigning to save it. Alison Earle has been to meet them.
