A play based on the life of the first black slave to become an English boxing champion, is coming to the capital.
Having it's first run in South London, where Tom Molineaux once lived, it tells the story of his struggle from chains to celebrity during the Georgian era.
The creators of the show have been carrying out workshops in boxing clubs to show the parrells between the stage and the ring.
Tom molineaux is a Jack Studio Theatre production playing at the theatre in May, with additional dates playing in Wandsworth from May 17th.
