Irreplaceable animals highlighted in the Edge of Existence weekend

Irreplaceable animals have been the centre of attention at London Zoo this weekend.

It comes as the organisation celebrates a decade of work with conservation charity Edge of Existence.

A series of special talks will demonstrate to visitors why certain species cannot be allowed to go extinct, and why their characteristics make them one of a kind in the animal kingdom.
