The poster girls of the underground

From Dame Zandra Rhodes to the textile designer Enid Marx, the women who've made posters for the underground over the last 100 years are being celebrated at a new exhibition at the London Transport Museum.

At least 170 women are known to have been commissioned by the capital's transport system since 1910.

Poster Girls – a century of art and design, opens on Friday 13th October.
