Dry January is underway - but what are the benefits?

It's the month that people rejoin the gym, quit smoking, go vegan and for some give up booze.

Among the New Year challenges that Londoners are setting themselves is Dry January - 31 days without alcohol.

Dr Richard Piper is the Chief Executive of Alcohol Concern which runs the campaign.
