Self-Portraits of Spanish painter Murillo go on display

To mark the 400th anniversary of his birth, the National Portrait Gallery has brought together the portraits of the Spanish artist Murillo, in a small but significant exhibition.

The showcase reunites his only two known self-portraits for the first time in more than three hundred years.

He was one of the most celebrated artists of the 17th-century.

The exhibition runs from the 28th of February until late May.
