Girls-only football training teaches more than skills and drills

An FA skills programme, aimed at getting more girls into football, says it is celebrating a 91 percent rise in participation over the last three years.

The success of the scheme, which is supported by a supermarket, was being marked with a special training session at Wembley on Wednesday.

FA's participation boss, Kelly Simmons, attended.
