Exhibition explores the suffragettes of today

To mark the centenary of women being given the right to vote, a London collective are staging a showcase exploring modern day activists.

The exhibition is on display at the London School of Economics' and features 21 artists from black and minority ethnic backgrounds who have been invited to create work with the title 'the new suffragettes'.

It is the second exhibition from the group 'We Are Here'.

'100 Years, Today's Women' is on at the London School of Economics' Library from March 14th - 18th.
