Ealing safe zone

A safe zone is to be created around an abortion clinic in Ealing, after the council voted unanimously to implement the measure. It means anti-abortion campaigners can not stand within 100 metres of the Marie Stopes Centre. The decision follows complaints from women using the clinic, that they had been harassed.

London Lives’ Anthony Baxter spoke to Clare McCullough from the Good Counsel Network which holds vigils outside the centre, and Polly Barklem from Sister Supporter, which campaigned for the safe zone.
