Southern Rail push for more female train drivers

Southern Railways says it is experiencing an increase in women training to be drivers.

The operator says a trainee class at its site in Selhurst has become its first with a 50:50 gender split.

The company says overall, a quarter of its graduating drivers this year, will be female.
