London Most Loved Spot

A Workhouse in Lambeth, where Charlie Chaplin spent some of his childhood, has been named London's most loved cultural spot.

For the last two decades the site in Elephant and Castle has been home to The Cinema Museum - which won a public vote, as part of the Time Out Love London Awards.

Despite its victory, those behind it say until recently the venue was under threat.
