New art exhibition explores emotions of mother-child bond

The Foundling Museum in Russell Square unveils a brand new exhibition tomorrow, presenting the unique work of British Artist Jodie Carey.

The textile-based sculptures aim to reflect the thousands of children who passed through the Foundling Hospital, which stood nearby from 1741 until being demolished in 1951.

Jodie's creations seek to explore themes of love, loss and human mortality.

The exhibition will run until the 2nd of September.
