New play, 'Sardines', looks at loneliness in London

A new play, based on statistics which suggest London is Europe's loneliest city is opening in the capital.


‘Sardines’, written by Jenna Kamal, is set on the tube, a place where millions of people sit side by side everyday, in complete silence.


Rumble Theatre's Alice Wordsworth and Erin Blackmore have directed the piece.


‘Sardines’ is on at The Drayton Arms Theatre from the 26​th​ June to the 7​th​ July.
