Bank junction fines

It's emerged that more than 200,000 traffic fines have been issued to motorists, who have been caught using Bank Junction - since a ban was brought in last May. Only buses and cyclists are allowed to use the stretch of road in the city during weekdays. The measures were brought in after a number of fatal accidents involving lorries and bikes. The City of London corporation has already made more than 8 million pounds in penalties - leading to claims from cab drivers of a cash cow.
