Many give blood in support of World Sickle Cell Day

Edith Victoria, founder of the charity 'Your Blood Helps' encouraged many ethnic minorities to give blood at the West End Blood Donor Centre.

The blood donations help patients with sickle cell, like Victoria's son, and also other diseases such as cancer.

Victoria hopes to promote awareness about this disease and encourage more members of the community to donate blood.
