Air pollution linked to the death of 9 year old Ella Kissi-Debrah

Illegally high levels of air pollution are being linked to the death of nine-year-old Ella Kissi-Debrah who died of a fatal asthma attack in 2013.

Ella lived just 25m from the notorious pollution "hotspot" - London's South Circular Road.

Her inquest found she died from acute respiratory failure, after suffering from years of seizures and hospital stays.

But her family have launched a legal bid to get the conclusion overturned. London Live spoke to Ella's mother, Rosamund Adoo-Kissi-Debrah.
