Pump reinstated in Soho to remember great scientist

A replica of the historical John Snow Pump has returned to Broadwick Street in Soho after being removed 4 years ago because of development in the area.

The water pump stands as a reminder to the scientist Dr John Snow and the work he did to stop the spread of Cholera across London in 1854.

Now in its original spot, the pump is a symbol of the changes scientists have made on how epidemics are treated worldwide.
