Shoreditch Dog House launches petition to stay in East London

A company which has been using an area of land in East London to run dog training and daycare services, says it's fighting a demand from the local authority to move out.

Shoreditch Dog House set up it's business next to Spitalfields Farm last year - claiming the land was derelict, and used by drug dealers.

It's launched a petition against plans by Tower Hamlets council to use it as a car park.

A spokesperson for tower hamlet council said: "The business has been operating on the land without permission. However, our town centres team have been seeking to support the business, and is continuing to speak with local landowners to see if an alternative location can be found in the area."
