Alan Jay Lerner remembered with a blue plaque

The Oscar and Tony winning playwright Alan Jay Lerner, who created some of the world's most popular musicals, for both stage and screen, has today been honoured with a new plaque in the West End.

The commemoration, at the Theatre Royal on Drury Lane, marks what would have been his 100th Birthday.
