Ian Hislop's search for dissent at the British Museum

The journalist and broadcaster Ian Hislop has been given permission to rumage in the archives at the British Musuem, as part of a personal quest to uncover dissent, satire and subversion across three millennia.

His findings, from propaganda directed towards Cleopatra, to hats worn during President Trump's election, have now formed a new exhibition.
