500 years of women in medicine

The history of women in medicine is coming under the microscope in a new exhibition at the Royal College of Physicians.

As part of the institution's 500th anniversary, the showcase will use records and letters, never before seen in public, to explore how the profession judged female doctors, and tried to block their progress for centuries.
