The British Museum's Japanese Galleries reopen

After a nine month upgrade, some of the British Museum's most popular galleries have reopened - putting the venue's extensive range of Japanese works back on show.

The hundreds of artworks and historical artefacts make up one of the world's largest collections from Japan outside of the country.

The exhibition now includes several new pieces, including a full set of armour from a Samurai warrior.
