The British Heart Foundation have launched a month long campaign to raise awareness of how upcycling furniture can help save lifes.

The Makeover Challenge invites Londoners to take part by giving a bit of love to some otherwise tired pieces of furniture, rather than buying new.

With over 50 stores in London alone, the charity raise over £25 million a year to help fund life-saving research.

At the campaign launch event in Shoreditch, London Live spoke to Sharp & Simpson upholsterer Micaela Sharp and the BHF's Vanessa Frances.
