New book shares stories from Windrush generation

In the wake of the Windrush scandal, and the 70th anniversary - a new book sharing the stories of the generation has been published - aimed at reminding us of the important role they played in British society.

Voices of the Windrush Generation explores whether those who made the move now think it was worth it, and addresses commonly-held stereotypes about the community.

The book is the work of the Brixton based journalist and broadcaster David Matthews.
