The 1930s arrive at the Fashion and Textile museum

The styles and trends of the 1930s are being brought out of the archive for the Fashion and Textitle Museum's winter exhibition.

The new showcase follows on from last year's exploration of the 1920s Jazz era.

As the flapper dress became tired and old, in came an art deco feel as the UK headed towards World War II.

"Night and Day: 1930s Fashion and Photographs" is at the Fashion and Textile Museum until the new year.
