Hugh Cornwell unleashes the Monster

Hugh Cornwell first found fame as the lead singer of The Stranglers.

Since leaving the band he has forged a successful career as a solo artist. His latest album Monster is made up of ten tracks each about a figure from the twentieth century, from the famous to the infamous to his own mother.

He spoke to London Live's Luke Blackall about his work.

Monster is out now and you can see Hugh Cornwell at the O2 Academy Islington on 6th November.
