The Bloomsbury Festival returns

Activists and Architects of Change is the theme for this year's Bloomsbury Festival - which starts on Wednesday.

More than 140 events aim to showcase the area, and celebrate its history.

Among the highlights - a night to mark the 250th anniversary of the first Circus - and reflections on the centenary of women winning the right to vote.

Kate Anderson is the festival director, and the composer Sylvia Lim is involved - her latest work will have its world premiere
