London's first Poverty Week

The first ever London Challenge Poverty Week kicked off today with a summit exploring the strain on the capital's charities. Limits on funding and changes to the benefit system were among the topics discussed. New research suggests less than 20 percent of organisations had been able to meet demand for their services in the last year, with the majority expecting that to only get worse in future.
