The health of young Londoners

The Mayor has highlighted the impact poverty is having on young Londoners' as he rolled out a new scheme across the capital. Having been trialled in six boroughs, the Healthy Early years programme will now aim to reach 13,000 under 5 year olds, by giving them what Sadiq Khan says, is the best possible start in life. The scheme will provide nurseries, playgroups and childminders with support to help encourage health eating and exercise.
