Is there a shortfall in diversity in the film industry?

Improvements in on-screen diversity has highlighted a major shortfall in a crucial role within the film industry when it comes to stunt actors.

A special workshop will take place at Bafta with the aim of getting more people from black and ethnic minority backgrounds to consider training to become a stunt artist.

We spoke to filmmaker and Blue Bird Pictures founder Joelle Mae David who is also one of the organisers. Shaina West was also in the studio she is a personal trainer and martial artist who is now set to enter the world of stunt acting.
