William Dobson: Artist of the Civil War

Regarded as one of the best British artists of the 17th Century, the work of William Dobson is being celebrated at Tate Britain this Autumn.

The new exhibition focuses on his paintings of the civil war, and how the conflict had an impact on his work.

"William Dobson: Artist of the Civil War" has opened at Tate Britain and remains there until next April.
