Exhibition looks into the future of epidemics

On the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of 'Spanish flu' which killed millions of people around the world, the Museum of London is exploring how London might be affected by future epidemics.

The exhibition will look at untold stories from previous outbreaks of the disease, and consider how prepared the capital is for the next one.

Among the key exhibits in the new display will be the outfit made for Queen Victoria in the earliest period of mourning for her grandson, Prince Albert Victor who died after being hit with 'Russian Flu'.

'Disease X' is on at the Museum of London from Friday 16th November.
