Giving children the chance to choose their books

Children lined up to get the chance to pick a book from their new pop-up book hut at Sandringham Primary School today.

The books have been donated by the London Children's Book Project - their core objective is to give every child the pleasure of choosing and owning their own books.

Last school year they gifted 25,000 books.  This school year they plan to gift more than 50,000 books to primary schools, Children's Centres, prisons, women's groups and food banks.
