Old masterpieces reimagined for The School of Night

17th century masterpieces have been re-imagined in a new exhibition.

The series of paintings by Wolfe von Lenkiewicz feature organic forms like gold, crystal and glass which both embellish and obscure the original inspiration.

The School of Night show hopes to create works that are cinematic as they play with the real and the imagined.

The School of Night is on at the Saatchi gallery until the 19th of November.
