Mayor of London adds five new low emission bus zones

London's latest low emission bus zone came into force this morning, with the Mayor of London on hand to confirm the route.

From today, only the cleanest buses will be able to operate on New Cross Road in Lewisham, among other high pollution areas of London.

It's the seventh zone of its kind, and aims to protect pedestrians, school children and those living and working there from high levels of pollution.
