Summer and Smoke comes back to London for the winter

It might be one of Tennessee Williams' lesser-known works, but Summer and Smoke proved a huge draw when it sold out the Almeida theatre in Islington earlier this year.

That success earned the play a run at the Duke of York's Theatre on St Martin's Lane, bringing the hot intensity of Wiliams' work to the West End this winter.

The show's stars, Patsy Ferran and Matthew Needham have reprised their roles and they spoke to London Live's Luke Blackall.

Summer and Smoke is on at the Duke of York's Theatre until 19th January.
