Campaign for deprived children to get a hot Christmas lunch

Londoners are being urged to support an annual campaign which offers some of the most deprived children in the capital, a chance to see a live Christmas performance, and have a hot lunch from the price of £1.

Full Hearts Full Tummies is run by Stratford Circus Arts Centre which this year wants to bring a bit of joy to 600 London families.

The venue reckons it needs £12,000 to carry out the programme and is hosting a special fundraiser tomorrow.

Tanya Wilmer is the centre's director.
